So, I never understood why Adam was so powerful. I mean, there's no reason he should be any more powerful than the average demon or angel, right? I mean, Satan very well could have given him all the power he could, but Adam has way more influence over reality than even he does.
But then, I realized something... In the Good Omens universe, power is based on belief. The Jeep Crowley stole in the book had a cassette player simply because he expected it to. When Aziraphale fixed Anathema's bike, it didn't go back to being what it was like, it went back to what Aziraphale thought it probably was like.
So, what if the reason Adam ended up being so powerful, is because all of the demons and all of the angels believed so certainly that he would be?
