Mr. Neil, I know you have stated before that the only changes/ad-libbed parts are the moment in the park and the sergeant pepper part, but i've noticed that one of my absolute favorite lines, when Hastur appears in Crowley's car, and in response to Crowley's lip says "Funny ha ha joke all you like..." is simply "Joke all you like" in the script book, or at least the one I have. I know the script book is an earlier version of the show, but I am wondering exactly how the change happened?
How it happened was that was what Ned said. There may well be places where the line as delivered wasn’t exactly the way it was written. (Ned Dennehy, who plays Hastur, would often reword slightly or elaborate on a line. Sometimes it would make it in but mostly it wouldn’t.) I don’t really count that as ad-libbing, though.

on a scale from 1 to 6025, how painful was it to burn down aziraphale's bookshop?
3012. If we didn’t burn it down there wouldn’t be a story.
piestrudel asked:
Hi, Neil! Was there ever any possibility of including the scene with Aziraphale possessing people around the world while trying to find London in the TV adaptation? The part in the book where he realizes he’s on television as the American pastor literally had me rolling in laughter and is one of my favorite scenes, so I had to ask!
For god’s sake if you aren’t Kashmiri please PLEASE talk about Kashmir. Kashmiris who are in Kashmir are facing vast media blackouts and have no means of digitally protesting this, nor do we have any idea what’s going on on ground. If you want to show solidarity...protest and talk, speak up
Here’s a link that explains what’s going on:
one incredibly scary fact from the article — public protest in response to this has been banned, and (most? all?) schools and colleges in jammu & kashmir are indefinitely shut down
All schools are shut down along with internet, telephone, radio, and television service.
Nerendra Modi is another example of Nationalism being extraordinarily harmful to real people.
I drew these while thinking about that Cats trailer. It IS Caturday. We still do Caturday, right? Here’s some classic cats.. as Cats.
