INDIANA JONES AND THE LAST CRUSADE
The intrepid graverobber and (definitely tenured) professor Indiana Jones gets hired by a dude to go find the Holy Grail, no big deal. At first Indy is like “no way secret Nazi,” but then it turns out his estranged pops went missing doing the same quest, so Indy signs up to find him and the grail. Along the way he and his dad date the same woman, kill some Nazis together, and learn a little bit about the cup of a carpenter or something. Hey, doesn’t it mess Indiana up a bit inside finding out all these disparate religious objects actually are real?
GRADE: A-
STAR TREK - “The Alternative Factor”
A random beard guy shows up just as whole dang galaxy suffers from some space quakes. It turns out the dude is fighting his anti-self in a pocket dimension, and every now and then one of them steps into our universe to creep around in a boring way. If they both step in, the whole Federation will explode! It’s one of the top five worst TOS episodes.
GRADE: F+
Victory to Indiana Jones, but Trek is up 142-138!
