Indigenous people in Attawapiskat cannot drink their water or bathe themselves, and haven’t been able to for weeks. They called a state of emergency.
What is Justin Trudeau’s response?
1 litre per day of water for kids under 2 years old. 1.5 litres per elder. The Tribal council must pay for this water in advance before they can be reimbursed next month.

Commissioned drawing of the character I play in our biweekly Starfinder campaign. This is my Drow Star Shaman Mystic, who is the ship’s pilot, intelligence officer, and theoretically the team healer, although I far more often shoot enemies than heal friends. Drawn by one of the other players in the group. I had commissioned her to do a simple portrait, but she surprised me with this elaborate scene of her piloting the team ship.
Starfinder is more like fantasy in space than science fiction, and a Star Shaman in particular is flying less through science than through a mystical connection to the gods of the cosmos, so when she asked me what the space ship console should look like, I told her to have it be more magic symbols and stuff than anything technological.

These viscous frogs are known as buzzing nursery frogs [Cophixalus bombiens]. Endemic to selected parts of Australia, these frogs are believed to have stable population numbers, but are very rarely observed by humans. It is believed that their offspring is born via direct development [emerging as fully developed frogs, rather than tadpoles], but this has not been observed by scientists. Images by Eric Vanderduys.
