ever since i saw that text post that said aziraphale takes bubble baths i can’t stop picturing him in the bathtub neck deep in bubbles glass of rosé in his hand just really fucking content thinking to himself “it would be nice if crowley was here” and accidentally summoning him

crowley appearing in the tub FULLY CLOTHED absolutely seething like “what the motherloving- WHO DID THIS” and then he sees azi and he’s like “oh” meanwhile aziraphale looks like he might discorporate at any given moment

Now that we have a video drama of the amazingness that is this book, I wonder if the radio drama will receive more or less interest? I hope it’s the former, and to further that cause, here is a link to where you can buy it (or listen free for a 30 day trial). It’s also on Audible if you have that, and if you’re too poor for audiobooks, here’s a playlist.

You know when people say things like “Tom Baker was my First Doctor” or “RDJ was my First Sherlock Holmes”? Well, Peter Serafinowicz & Mark Heap will always be my First Crowley & Aziraphale. When I reread the book, theirs are the voices I picture. When I read fanfic, nowadays I see a weird mix of them-as-I-imagined-them and David Tennant & Michael Sheen.

Also, Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman have an adorable cameo as the police officers chasing Crowley on the way to Tadfield. They get eaten by their engine and it’s hilarious.

Anyway. This is the best radio play I’ve ever heard. The direction and audio design are just fabulous. The actors, including the kids, are amazing. And Peter Serafinowicz made me fall for Crowley with his smooth but snarky voice. Also, unlike in most radio dramas, there’s no “voice-over narration” – because it’s not needed. (I personally don’t think it was needed in the TV series either, 90% of the time, but yeah.)

Do go listen to it. Hear it over and over until you know it by heart. No no no don’t do that, don’t be like me. But, well… you can listen while driving, or walking, or working mindlessly, unlike with video, so… you could. Just saying.

I’ve already advertised for the radio dramatisation before, but it seems like a good time to remind you all of it ! It is VERY GOOD !!!

I’ll never stop advertising the radio play of Good Omens because Peter Serafinowicz and Mark Heap were my first Crowley and Aziraphale too. Serafinowicz’s voice is just so buttery and smooth and classical-bond-villain monologue-esque he’ll wrap serpentine coils around you with his line delivery.

And Mark Heap’s dramatics in the paintball scene are unmatched. If you’ve seen that freeze-frame of DT Crowley reacting to being shot with a paintball - Heap’s Aziraphale goes beyond that somehow. With only a single exclamation and his voice. It’s delightful

You’ve probably been wondering what we have been working on since the canceled Kickstarter. Well, we have reevaluated a lot and I’ll lay some of it out in different posts. We were told by our initial manufacturer that it would go from idea to doll in hand in 6 months. Long story, short: scam. We never received anything from him but during that time we rushed on everything to meet that 6 month target. Even our logo was rushed. So first, here is our new logo. We removed the curvy girl because we don’t want to show preference to any doll or race of doll, etc.

This is still very much happening.
