eameseames asked:

Crowley keeps buying soft fuzzy blankets and pillows and hot water bottles because he’s always cold, but he ends up leaving them at Aziraphale’s place because they clash with his own decor.

forineffablereasons answered:

crowley popping into the shop like “hey aziraphale” and then by the time aziraphale looks up from his books he’s just disappeared…there’s a brief moment of “hello? crowley?” before aziraphale notices crowley’s foot sticking out of a pile of blankets on the sofa. aziraphale just tucks a blanket around the stray foot, miracles the space around the sofa a little warmer, and goes back to reading - and if he grins affectionately when he hears a satisfied little huff from under the covers as the heat reaches the inner cocoon, well. crowley won’t ever know.

oh i love this and sometimes its a tail instead of a foot this is like enjoying a warm cuppa him snek they are in love good omens aziraphale/crowley ineffable husbands tumblr ficlets

I’ve lived through [Loki]. Other people can have their opinion objectively about where Loki should go, but I’ve lived through every moment. And sometimes I’m the only person who knows how it feels. And I always have ideas. Some of them I’m sure are terrible, but some of them are good and they’re in the film. And that’s really exciting, when you feel like, I know every inch of Loki. And I’m the only person who’s played him. So other people have written him, other people have shot him, other people have framed him, but I know his inside. And it’s really exciting that I have had a bit of an input into it. It’s really great. - Tom Hiddleston

108echoes

Yep! This is called rebracketing. Another famous example would be “-burger”: the original food item is named after the German city, [Hamburg]+[er], but got semantically reinterpreted as [ham]+[burger]. Now it’s used as a suffix indicating a type of sandwich.

I love etymology!!!!!
