They’d called him Principality. Guardian of the Eastern Gate. Handed him a sword and labelled him a fighter. Aziraphale. Of Raphael. Labelled in the light of another. Expectations to uphold.

He fails instantly. They do not strip him of his titles.

I don’t think petimetrek is going to delete but she’s probably sure as Hell not going to feel like posting art. If whoever decided to start this drama wanted to see depictions of Good Omens characters as people of color they pretty much just ruined that for themselves, because petimetrek is one of the few fanartists still drawing their pre-show headcanons regularly and drawing non-white characters well.

This shit isn’t going to stop until all fanart is exactly as it is in the show so artists can safely hide behind the casting choices and pass the blame instead of defending their own headcanons, just a monotonous monolith of the same characters looking exactly the same, and then these people will get pissed about a/c shippers obsessing over two white men as though they didn’t just mercilessly bully people off of drawing non-white headcanons

However, don’t expect more GO fanart for my part. Listen, years ago this shit happened to me too when I was (still am, but not as much) into Star Trek… I’m really tired, fandoms are fucking toxic.

I was trying to be better as a person and as an artist, but apparently, I’m not allowed to do so. Maybe this is karma trying to kick my butt for all those artists that stopped drawing because of what I said about drawing Crowley looking “vaguely” POC alongside with white Aziraphale. Me drawing them both POC required more attention and hate than that this.

And the last straw was that I lied to people and pretended to be black so I could magically absorb all the notes and reblogs and be the center of the universe!

See me fooling everyone? ahhaha I’m a genius! Also, yes, I’m 30 years old. People are allowed to like and enjoy things even if they are not teenagers. Maybe… just maybe people liked my art because they thought it was good? because I’ve been drawing for years and years and had time to improve? and not because I pretended to be someone I’m not?

But you know what? this is a good excuse for me to start drawing a comic I’ve been planning to create for a year. So yeah, say thanks to that anon who said those things to me.
