This Fossil Friday, get to know Scutosaurus karpinskii! Also called the “shield lizard,” this animal lived about 253 million years ago during the Late Permian. Scutosaurus is one of the pareiasaurs, a group of early sauropsids that were probably related to the smaller procolophonids. The pareiasaurs had spikes and thickened knobs around the skull. Their teeth were simple pegs, presumably adapted for eating plants. Pareiasaur fossils have been found in Africa, Europe, and Asia. Spot this one in the Museum’s Hall of Vertebrate Origins.

Drawn for my lovely patrons, after my first fanart poll! Good Omens has been one of my favorite books for mumbledy years, since high school, and it was interesting to take a crack at this new televised version of the characters! (Sheen and Tennant do them great justice, I must say.) Nevermind the opportunity to indulge in absurd historical fashion!
Avant même d'écouter cette série je savais que j'allais l'aimer. Tsé, il y a en plus David Tennant :P J'aime le style narratif et visuel de cette émission :3 Le docteur aura finalement eu ses cheveux roux!
Before even listening to this series I knew that I was going to love it. With David Tennant it’s sure to be a good show!
I like the narrative and visual style of this show: 3 The doctor will finally have his hair red!
Aziraphale held up the sword. There was a whoomph as it suddenly flamed like a bar of magnesium.
“Once you’ve learned how to do it, you never forget,” he said.
He smiled at Crowley.
“I’d just like to say,” he said, “if we don’t get out of this, that… I’ll have known, deep down inside, that there was a spark of goodness in you.”
“That’s right,” said Crowley bitterly. “Make my day.”
Aziraphale held out his hand.
“Nice knowing you,” he said.
Crowley took it.
“Here’s to the next time,” he said. “And… Aziraphale?”
“Yes.”
“Just remember I’ll have known that, deep down inside, you were just enough of a bastard to be worth liking.“

concept:
Adam Young maintains close contact with Crowley and Aziraphale, basically thinks of them as his “cooler parents.” Basically, he goes over to their cottage at least once a month to hang out and confides in them about school, family, friends, basically anything. Anyway, Adam goes off to college and meets new people, makes new friends, etc. during holidays he comes over and talks about it, there happens to be one recurring character in Adam’s stories that Crowley and Aziraphale pick up on, some American boy Adam met in one of his classes in freshman year named Arlo.
Around the end of Sophomore year, Adam finally tells them that they started dating (that night the two pop So Many bottles) and that summer he brings Arlo over to the cottage to meet them. They get the place ready and Crowley is definitely Not freaking out hes just sweating a bit because it’s hot outside not because he is terrified of ruining this for him, Aziraphale. They answer the door and Arlo stares at them in shock. They look at him and back at each other intermittently.
It turns out that Arlo is actually Warlock Dowling and it is probably the biggest general disaster of a Meet The Parents that you would expect it to be.
