And I think all the posts about tender wing grooming between Crowley and Aziraphale are cute and all but have you considered

Crowley having to chase a very unhappy and skittish Aziraphale around the bookstore like a dog knowing it has to take a bath and resisting nonetheless

Crowley is just. absolutely starved for Aziraphale’s affection. like the angel could just brush his thumb across Crowley’s cheek and he’d not only lean into it like a cat but also completely melt and probably collapse right there with his knees buckling
