I had a dream and in it I was scrolling through tumblr. I got a notification that you posted so I went to it, and it was the longest ass thing. It was a self insert fanfic (starring you, of course) and jesus. 43 chapters long. The summary said it was about Jesus coming to you in a dream, to discuss the current state of your life and happiness, and he became your friend. You met him in your dreams ever since then. I did not read it, unfollowed and blocked you. I dont know why. It was ongoing.

Okay the good omens tv show had so many great parts but I think we’re all sleeping on crowley’s underrated sort of microobsession with ducks.
he doesnt know anything about them but he just thinks theyre neat
there’s a whole extended duck metaphor in the book– you have ‘like water off a duck’s back’ and you have ‘like a duck to water’ (subverted because the actual text is talking about aziraphale taking to dancing ‘like a duck to merchant banking’) and this sets up the implied duck metaphor of ‘looks like a duck and quacks like a duck then it’s a duck’ but it’s applied to Adam ie ‘looks like a human and acts like a human therefore is a human.’
