tbh the best thing about good omens is how just, absolutely fucking absurd it is? And how that’s okay? It doesn’t take itself seriously but manages to have so much depth in it in spite of that. It doesn’t always make sense, but it doesn’t need to. So much of the urban fantasy media out there is so doom and gloom and meanwhile good omens manages to be this hilarious combination of the whimsical and the mundane with the overall message of “nothing’s punker than having hope” and “love wins” and it just, feels good man
