I swore, for about five full minutes, that I wasn’t going to become a GOOD OMENS blog, no matter how many of my friends were! But then people started making all this art, all this great commentary, and, oh, god, NOW THERE’S DELIGHTFUL FIC TO READ OH NO and here we are.

AND YES I’M STILL CRYING ABOUT THE STUPID ANGEL AND THE STUPID DEMON AND MY STUPID FEELINGS ABOUT THEM but at least the fic writers are here to help make it better! (Or worse. Or both.)

GOOD OMENS RECS:
a city wall and a trampoline by kafkian, aziraphale/crowley, 4.7k
In their cottage in the South Downs, when Crowley eventually succeeds in getting Aziraphale to use a laptop, it takes Aziraphale literal hours to get past the default Windows screensavers of picturesque locations because ‘oh, look, isn’t it lovely, Crowley!’

Add Wings, Add Harp, Add Heart (all set) by DeerstalkerDeathFrisbee, aziraphale/crowley, 4.1k
“WE AREN’T MARRIED.” “Well we aren’t not married,” Aziraphale argues. Crowley makes an annoyed sound and stalks away. He comes back a minute later, “Well I certainly don’t honor you or whatever they say in those promise things.” “Vows. And you honor me with your presence, my dear.” Crowley realizes he and Aziraphale act like a married couple. A minor crisis is had. Fluff ensues.

you smiled (and it broke my heart) by TheIndianWinter, aziraphale/crowley, 3k
Aziraphale attempted a smile for him, but it was too sad to really be a smile. (Over the course of millennia, Crowley had grown quite familiar with the angel’s smiles. From the reluctant ones that tweaked at his lips after an off-colour remark from the demon, to the full-blown beatific expression of pure angelic joy that did strange things somewhere in the vicinity of Crowley’s stomach. He knew Aziraphale’s smiles. This was not one of them.) “I’m thinking of closing the bookshop,” he said.

Jesus was a Crossmaker by WritingIsMyCoffee, aziraphale/crowley, 4.8k
In which Crowley can’t handle another 6000 years of pining and Aziraphale is very much himself.

such surpassing brightness by Handful_of_Silence, aziraphale/crowley, 7.7k
The revelation that Aziraphale might have been in love with him for thousands of years is surprising. The fact that literal books have been written on the subject comes as even more of a shock.

Something So Magic About You by champagne_for_breakfast, aziraphale/crowley, 1.8k
“To the world”, he says. It’s not what Crowley means, though. I love you, is what he means. I’m so glad the apocalypse didn’t happen. I’m so happy you are not dead. I was so scared. Do you know how much you mean to me? I have always loved you.

Show/Tell by walkalittleline, aziraphale/crowley, 3.3k
It took Aziraphale approximately five thousand nine hundred and forty-five years—give or take a few months—to fall in love. It didn’t take Crowley nearly as long.

Doing Good by fabrega, aziraphale/crowley, 2.2k
It was hard to adjust, after the Apocalypse, but Aziraphale and Crowley were going to try.

And The Violins Played On by dunk_on_em (the_author_at_221B), aziraphale/crowley, 1.1k
Mathew 5:28- But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman demon to lust (and love) after her him hath committed adultery (and fucked up royally,) with her him already in his heart.

Good Old-Fashioned Lover Boy by orphan_account, aziraphale/crowley, 2.3k
“It’s only a sin in excess, my dear,” said Aziraphale. “Like gluttony.”

Four Letter Words by DHW, aziraphale/crowley, ~1k
There are some things a demon just doesn’t like to admit.

(subject to change) by acetheticallyy (jacquesdernier), aziraphale/crowley, 3.3k
It isn’t that anything bad is going to happen to him should he do it—quite the opposite, in fact. But something bad might happen to someone else, someone he rather cares for a great deal, and that’s the part that has him stuck.

Talking to the Plants by orchidlocked, aziraphale/crowley, 2.5k
Soft Crowley thinking about his Angel Aziraphale in the wake of the Apocalypse that wasn’t, while talking to his plants.

Too Generous by rfsmiley, aziraphale/crowley, 1.5k
“You are too generous to trifle with me. If your feelings are still what they were last April, tell me so at once. My affections and wishes are unchanged; but one word from you will silence me on this subject for ever.”

i’ve been with you such a long time (you’re my sunshine) by citadelofswords, aziraphale/crowley, 1.2k
There’s still holy water on Crowley’s floor. Somehow, that was what did it. (or, the night after the end of the world.)

Strange Bedfellows by fabrega, aziraphale/crowley, 2k
“You know, humans say that a good bed at the end of a long day feels heavenly.”

After All by AmberDiceless, aziraphale/crowley, bookverse, 20.1k
Of course everyone knew there would be consequences, and that the world would have to end sometime. A story about What Happened After, with guest appearances by Him Below, the four Archangels and the Big Cahuna Himself.

that pulse of my nights and days by Ark, aziraphale/crowley, NSFW, 1.6k
this sooner,” he says, pulling back and—oh, naughty angel!—increasing the length and girth of his cock when he pushes back in. Crowley gasps, and Aziraphale—greedy, too!—tilts in to swallow the sound from his lips, flicks his tongue against Crowley’s as though chasing after the flavor of this elongated pleasure.
