‘Please do reconsider your current circle of friends, dear.’
‘They’re not that bad, Aziraphale! You worry too much.’
AU: They met before the Fall.
Aziraphale tries to make that two angels dancing on the head of a pin.

What I love best about Michael Sheen’s acting is, whether it’s broad or subtle, it’s always so incredibly specific.
He’s not giving you “I’m angry”, he’s giving “I want to rip his throat out because he hurt you, and I have felt a similar hurt, but in me it feels shameful, so the only way I can express my anger about this is by using you as proxy for the scared child inside me”. And he does it without a word or even a discernible movement, but it’s THERE, and it’s both beautiful and painful to watch.
I think it’s the specificity that makes me cry watching literally everything he does, because he’s putting things out there that we don’t see or talk about, but we FEEL. And that feels isolating, living that alone. But seeing it reflected so clearly makes us (or me, at least) say “oh, you too?” And I think that’s what we all need a bit more of these days: the “not alone”. The connection.
So thank you for coming to my TED Talk on why Michael Sheen is a fucking gift. There will be cookies at the reception afterwards.

I agree, it is a thing of beauty and wanting to nibble those thighs is a forever mood.
