You guys I will NEVER be over the scene where Aziraphale and Crowley are set up to be killed by heaven and hell but end up fine, I will NEVER be over it. It needs to win some kind of award.

They both look so scared too, you can see the fear in Aziraphale’s eyes when he’s standing in front of the hellfire and you can see that Crowley swallows thickly when they’re pouring the holy water in the bathtub and then??? Then it just cuts to each of them being TOTALLY FINE and Crowley acts like he’s taking a normal bath and Zira is acting like he’s nice and cozy and you can see the fear and panic in the angels and demons faces, their looks are so PRICELESS.

And then it’s revealed that it was just Crowley and Zira pretending to be each other and that’s a bit of a let down until you realize that they know each other well enough to pull off being each other. Aziraphale knows Crowley well enough to flick water at the other demons and make them scream, and Crowley knows Aziraphale well enough to know he’d say some sort of forgiving words before stepping into his doom.

And then it gets even BETTER when you realize that they were able to pull each other off so well not only because they know each other so well, but also because they’ve each got a bit of heaven AND hell in them! It’s like that line: “Crowley is just nice enough and Aziraphale is just enough of a bastard.”

So not only does Crowley know Aziraphale would forgive the angels before dying, he also does it because of that part of him that’s good!

And not only does Aziraphale know Crowley well enough to scare the other demons with holy water and ask for a rubber duck, he also did it because that part of him that’s a bastard!

So that part about Crowley being a little bit good and Aziraphale being a little not so good is true! And they work together so perfectly because of it!

It’s one thing to read about Aziraphale and how utterly adorable he is, and it’s a whole other thing to see him being cute, like, did you notice how happy he was when getting served sushi?? And when learning to dance??? He’s adorable and Crowley has every right to be crushing on him.
