good omens + richard siken quotes
“and you’re trying to choke down the feeling, and you’re trembling, but he reaches over and touches you like a prayer for which no words exist, and you feel your heart taking root in your body, like you’ve discovered something you don’t have a name for”
everyone making discourse over good omens and neil gaiman makes me tired… like the dude is obviously an lgbt ally(his wife is bi) and he’s literally said that aziraphale and crowley are in love, even if they’re not gay(that just means they’re both not cis men which is awesome!!) and hinted at the fact that they’re asexual. he even made God gender neutral(which They are), as well as Pollution and made Michael’s actor a woman!!!
y'all just want porn so bad y'all gonna be rude to an ally who gave us all of that, huh?

We’re not friends! We are an angel and a demon. We have nothing whatsoever in common. I don’t even like you!
You do.[Caption: gifset about the difficulties and risks Aziraphale and Crowley encountered for their relationship in Good Omens. The set includes Aziraphale nervously saying Crowley isn’t his friend and they don’t know each other while Crowley smiles right next to him (while watching a Shakespeare rehearsal); Crowley saying that if people hear he rescued an angel he’d be in trouble (getting Aziraphale out of jail during the French revolution); Aziraphale using his white wing to cover Crowley from the rain in the garden of Eden; Aziraphale asking Crowley if he knows the trouble he’d be in if Heaven knew they’d been fraternising; Crowley asking Aziraphale to escape earth together, freaking him out; the archangel Gabriel seeing pictures of the two of them together all through history and saying he’s sure there’s a perfectly innocent explanation for it; Ligur asking what Crowley’s been playing at when he finds out about their relationship; Crowley walking away indignant from the bandstand, leaving Aziraphale standing there after rejecting his proposal to run away together; Michael calling Aziraphale “a bit of a fallen angel” for consorting with the enemy, and Aziraphale smiling and nervously denying it; and Croley telling Aziraphale on the bench that they don’t have a side anymore, thay the two of them alone are their own side.]
I remember reading Good Omens in middle school and falling in love with the dry wit and tenderness of an angel and a demon coming together to save the world. Watching the first episode last night was something special. I was reliving a book that shaped me into who I am and it was as wonderful and sweet as it was the first time
