Still trying to get myself comfortable with drawing these two dorks because I'm still not over how beautiful Good Omens is. May God Herself bless everyone involved with this production.

By the way, I lovethe fact that Aziraphale's clothes get darker as time passes. Like, in Eden it was pure white, and in Noah and Christ's time, but turn more and more greyish and brownish with time. I don't know if someone has ever pointed it out, but...

also yall i love you but bolo ties are made of cord (braided,etc), traditionally they have a clasp of some sort, sometimes the clasps can be pretty small (especially in modern bolos) –

crowley’s scarf is knit.  It’s weirdly fragile looking considering it has metal tassels and beads hanging off both ends.  It’s held together in the center by a knot (no clasp).  This fashion statement can’t be fully appreciated until you realize that no, it really is a very thin flimsy knit scarf.  They couldn’t even give it the structural support of being woven, and they thought it was a good idea to weigh it down with metal.  Some of the takes in the show, the scarf looks thinner / stretched, i think it’s because the longer you wear this thing, the more gravity destroys it.  it was not made to live.  (i imagine they bought/made multiple of it bc thats how costuming for tv usually works so i can only imagine how fast this thing falls apart)

i really can’t think of anything more in character for Crowley than the thought process behind this thing being a dash of “oh this is cute” mixed with a pinch of “ah, i love it, it’s a mix of everything wrong with fast fashion and high-end disposable fashion” & a helping of “Oh this is going to piss Aziraphale off almost as much as the outfit I wore to save him from being executed during the Reign of Terror, I can’t wait to wear this little number for a decade”

not art good omens crowley aziraphale sorry i have been posting about nothing but this scarf for 2 or 3 days its just after youve drawn crowley a few times it starts to haunt you the scarfblogging will end soon i promise crowley buys the batshit crazy concoctions invented by desperate high end fast fashion brands all of that stuff that looks like it's made out of chopped up jeans like a choker thats just part of a pant leg crowleys like oh i can't NOT manifest this directly on to my body i mean his actual taste in clothing seems a bit classier than that but it's JUST a step away conceptually this scarf is just a distressed denim choker as much as im roasting it i really do think it looks nice on him and works for his character scarfblogging
