I really like just how excited he looks because she read his book. He’s proud of it, he’s proud that it got under her skin so much. He’s getting back at her. And she can’t let him think he’s won, so she lies.
The lie comes out sooner than later thanks to Tyrol.
Tyrol’s road from dismissing the book and its ideas because it’s written by Baltar, to reading it out of curiosity, to confronting Gaius about the truthfulness of it was interesting to watch as well.
