I have literally 0 idea why or how but the quality of GO fanfic my dudes, it’s just beyond. I’m honestly shooketh. Do you know how many pairings I’ve dug into -canonical, popular pairings with thousands of fics on ao3- and never found a good fic? And good omens fic is the opposite - I think I’d have to actively look for one that is bad. I don’t know what juice y’all writers are drinkin out there but I see you and I appreciate you.

I for one love the fact that along with the popularity of good omens is the treatment of Christianity/Catholicism as mythology, it reminds me of when Percy Jackson was popular and everyone suddenly knew a whole lot about Greek mythology
