this is probably rlly specific but like… does anyone else ever get unbearably embarrassed about searching for content for something they’re really invested in and intentionally make things harder for yourself by trying to find it without actually searching or asking for it directly so that you don’t have to acknowledge to yourself that you want to see it or is it just me

if we want the rewards of seeing more content for the interests we love we must first submit to the mortifying ordeal of actively looking for it

Look, if you’ve only experienced Good Omens via show and you’re making jokes about how useless Crowley and Aziraphale are for the Actual Plot… like, no shame in only watching that version, I’m not trying to Fake-Geek-Girl you… I just want you all to know that the show version actually gave them MORE plot-relevant things to do than in the book! In the book, Crowley and Aziraphale were EVEN MORE useless!

I’m very excited for my latest craft experiment, where I rhythmically slap sale rank oil paint onto a canvas and I see how long it takes to dry so that I can finally touch the paint textures I stare at so longingly in museums. 12 hours in, still wet. I am beginning to think this might take longer than I thought which you can imagine is quite a burden, as I am absolutely horned up to rub this paint.

You guys sound like you know what you’re talking about but I’m gonna touch it every twenty minutes just to be sure

I’ve put this canvas to age in the basement like a fine wine, along another recent masterpiece of mine “I put the paint on me hand and I slap the canvas like a bongo”

i learned that the “seeds” on Strawberries aren’t actually seeds. They are actually a type of dry fruit called achenes

An achene (also sometimes called akene and occasionally achenium or achenocarp) is a type of simple dry fruit produced by many species of flowering plants.

Strawberries are compound fruits! Each of the “seeds” is the fruit of a single flower.

Also apples are false fruits, the bit we eat is actually part of the stem (called the receptacle) and the actual “fruit” is the inedible core…
