I cannot put into words how much I loved Good Omens. Aziraphale and Crowley are such great, funny, warm and lovable characters and their relationship is pure gold.

This series had all the wit AND all the heart and an ending without any stupid last minute plot twists but with beautiful closure.

Loved every second of it.

Have to read the book now. Wanted to read some Pratchett for ages. Now I bloody well HAVE to.

“ My Book Break Book for Threadcaster is Good Omens. I’ve never read it before but I’ve had it recommended to me by tons of people and I love Neil Gaiman a lot (I must confess to not having read my Terry Pratchett)

Here’s my interpretation of the two main characters Aziraphale and Crowly. They don’t quite look like the book art, but that’s okay. It’s my imagination afterall. I know it’s a shame not to put Aziraphale’s camelskin coat in him, but I wanted to show off that sweatervest. I want one. “

2 Things on the First Rain

I don’t think I’ve seen this talked about yet but:

1) They’ve known each other .12 seconds when it starts raining. Crowley immediately starts walking towards Aziraphale for shelter and Aziraphale doesn’t even look, he just opens his 1 wing for him. 

2) Aziraphale doesn’t seek cover at all, he just lets himself be rained on. Which makes me wonder if the First Rain wasn’t a holy rain?? I’ve just watched that bit so many times and wondered why it was important for Crowley to be covered but not Aziraphale.

So possibly, even though the flashbacks show Crowley doing most of the saving, Aziraphale may have done the first one?
