See, that’s what the app is perfect for.

Maybe it’s just because I (like a lot of us) have been so preoccupied screaming about Crowley and Aziraphale, but I haven’t actually seen any posts noting something I found a little odd. In the show, they updated the prophecy about the car crash (”robin’s blue chariot, 3 wheels”), but when we see Aziraphale reading the book with all the prophecies flying around his head, that prophecy remains the original one (”orient’s chariot, four wheels”). Is this intentional, does anyone know, or a design error?

4 actors in Good Omens I have to praise

Adam Young - Sam Taylor Buck

Okay so this kid genuinely terrified my kid while watching it but as an watching it the moments when he’s being fascinated by all the stuff Anathema told him and his parents and friends are saying it rubbish.

Oof.

I remember being 11 and feeling like I knew things or was playing things and how I felt when family dismissed me or my friends refused to play along.

Particularly with the friends one. 11 is the teetering beginning where “playing” starts feeling embarrassing and people are telling you to act your age

I just felt it in everything Sam Taylor Buck did.

Madam Tracey - Miranda Richardson

She pulled off being possessed by Azriaphale so seamlessly that you could almost forget that she wasn’t actually being possessed by Michael Sheen

How she carries herself as Azriaphale Vs Madam Tracey, her facial expressions, everything about her acting is top notch

Azriaphale - Michael Sheen and Crowley - David Tennant: The Switch

Look if I wrote about how amazing both of them were at their roles my fingers will fall off but I do want to talk about the switch

When I first watched it just before Azriaphale stepped into the fire something about his face made me go “hold on!”

Watching it a second time knowing that they had already switched places is fascinating because once you know it’s obvious

1. Very beginning of the episode Azriaphale as Crowley is holding himself much tighter and stiff then Crowley would and his “flippant” comment about houseplants on second viewing is clearly Azriaphale being nervous

Through out the trial his “flippancy” and “jokes” coming from Azriaphale are endearing earnest. Like asking if Dragon was his defence lawyer.

The splashing water at the demon’s and asking for a rubber duck and a towel was him acting as Crowley but otherwise he’s being a terrible liar if you actually know him

2. Crowley as Azriaphale is quiet. He deliberately delivers a Azriaphale like line about forgiveness but his expression is closed off and cold and he’s watching everything with cautious eyes. For first time viewers before you know (and for the Angels) that lead up gives the impression that Azriaphale was just accepting. Also his line about then being the good guys now is Crowley being resentful and a bit sarcastic and it’s great

But what gives him away is his expression when Gabriel tells him to “shut his stupid mouth and die already”

That is Crowley holding himself back through extreme force of will and the glee on his face when he breathes fire at them and cracks his neck in the fire…well it’s brilliant.

Seriously the acting in this is so good!
