I love listening to Discworld audiobooks

But it’s a bad idea to listen in public because I spend a lot of time giggling or snorting with laughter, even if I know the book by heart some of the jokes still catch me by surprise

The switcheroo scene: The real angst comes from Aziraphale looking at the holy water and Crowley looking at the hellfire, and both of them thinking the exact same thing.  “My God, what if we hadn’t figured out the prophecy?  What if it was him standing here instead of me?  This is how he would have died, alone and in agony and surrounded by people who hate him.”

They’re not exactly the same because let’s be honest here, it’s simply different times the shows are made

But this is as close to keeping the same but updating it for a more modern time 👍👍

Aziraphale:  Oh, another potted plant!  How lovely.  Though… is that a brown spot?

Crowley, snaps fingers and heals thy plant:  I got it half price from the bargain bin.

Aziraphale:  Ah well, thank you anyway.  I’ll be sure to take good care of it.  You know, I still miss the gardens of Babylon to this day…
