In the noah’s ark flashback you mentioned crowley looked seasick and in another chapter he said something like he has no allergies he’s aware of…can angels and demons even get things like allergies or motion sickness, do you think? Does it vary by corporation? Get a new body and suddenly you can’t eat peanuts or ride in planes or something
Indeed, at least in my extension of the GO universe, they can have allergies and get things like motion sickness. And it does vary by corporation, mostly just chance of the draw. As you read further in CoT, you’re going to find out that one of my OC versions of one of the Archangels (Uriel) has a silver allergy; she has issues wearing jewelry made from it. You’ll also notice, more and more, that Aziraphale and Crowley have marked neurodivergences as part and parcel with their corporations. I won’t spoil anything further!
the BEST thing about Crowley is that he could have easily been the boring “suave, cool, sexy, womanizing demon/bad boy” stereotype we’ve seen five million times and he even kind of dresses in a way that makes you assume he will be but instead he’s an absolute idiot. a total dork. just a lame moron who thinks he’s way cooler than he is and has been pining for the same angel for 6000 years. there is nothing cool about Anthony J. Crowley and I love that.
everyone who writes their ‘7’s with a little dash through them had a conscious moment of truth where they actively chose to write ‘7’ in that way and never stopped doing it like if you can’t clearly recall that fateful decision wyd
i feel like this applies to a few things:
okay this is wild to me because I definitely, absolutely chose to write sevens that way (zeros too, they both just look cooler like that idgaf), but I used to write twos with the loop naturally, and I consciously switched to the sharp boy instead
level 1: two white men interact and have 474859 fanfics on ao3
level 2: outright queerbaiting
level 3: well written relationships that can still be passed off as friendships, narratives and characterization that really speak to being gay or trans, stuff with That Vibe
level 3.5:
deliberately written as LGBT but censored into ambiguity (thanks @earthtotoddlerbitch!)
level 4: the elusive canon LGBTs. explicit relationships, characters saying “i am X”, etc.
