listen nobody talks about how mentally and physically draining it is to commute before and after work. you’re tired by the time you get there and you’re exhausted when you leave but you still have an hour in traffic before you can get home and collapse
Good Omens is making me question myself because Crowley is literally my type of character, absolutely everything about him is what I like in a character, and David is doing a fantastic job, not to mention that I fucking adore him.
Yet I find myself absloutely in love with Aziraphale. He’s not the type of character I usually go for, but there’s something about him that’s making me wanna die for him! Again, not to mention that Michael Sheen is an actual angel himself.
I finally published the first ever fanfic I’ve written. I know that it’s probably utter trash, but I wanted to contribute to a community that has given me so much.
Eternally torn because on the one hand, I respect and even like the cannon decision to make Newt and Anathema a couple. I’ve got a soft spot for kick-ass women and shy, awkward men being paired up, and I like to think that after the book, Newt becomes Anathema’s biggest supporter, John Mulaney “I love my wife” style.
On the other hand, gay brain keeps chanting “make her a lesbian” in an increasingly loud voice.
I just discovered that the last episode of Fosse/Verdon airs the same week that Good Omens premiers. I’d like to thank Aziraphale and also Crowley for sustaining me.
Oh also I just made a reservation to see the first episode of Good Omens at the Hollywood Arclight next week so if you hear a high pitched squealing up the 101 freeway on the evening of the 16th you’ll know it’s me.
Fun fact: In the Spanish translation of Good Omens, Aziraphale and Crowley don’t hold hands–instead, Crowley high-fives Aziraphale. Now, I could rant about how that takes away the emotional impact and how it’s possible that they translated it that way so that the readers wouldn’t think They Did An Gay, but honestly the mental image is hilarious and that almost makes up for it.
The not so accurate stitching of a beginner crafter (witch?)
Working on more little toys for my cat, covered in scraps of denim and strings of thread whilst listening to the Good Omens audiobook in preparation for the 31st. I am so excited for it! …might make myself a little Crowley to keep safe from the cat.
