New yarn storage!!

For anyone who is curious, this is a 25-bottle wine cabinet that holds about 60 skiens of yarn, as well as my blocking boards, my fiberfill, and assorted odds and ends. I want to but some hooks on the side for the baller/swift table and the photography background, then I can put my books on top. Glass door keeps the cats out, but lets me see most of what I have at a glance.

Honestly, a pretty good investment all around.

This is my favorite tree in the orchard! The variety is called Ginger Gold, and it’s a late summer yellow apple that’s sweet and juicy with a ginger-flavored kick to it that’s really pleasant and refreshing. I’m not usually too crazy about summer apples–they don’t have the flavor or crunch of a fall apple normally–but I’ll make an exception for Ginger Golds.
