Pretty girls with horns???

what-even-is-thiss

Nope, no, it’s… it’s an expression.

I want a pretty girl with horns…

what-even-is-thiss

I’ve decided to not make motivational posts directed at lesbians anymore.

madd-catter

That’s fair.

dapperbubble

what-even-is-thiss

finding out people dont usually add numbers by first adding something to make a ten (for example 7+6= 7 plus 3 is 10 plus another 3 is 13) & that its actually an adhd thing is the WILDEST shit literally ive lived like 10 years (or however old i was when i learned to add and stuff) thinking thats how everyone does it. what the fuck

It’s also an autism thing, apparently.

Oh yeah! This is also part of why autistic people/people with adhd struggle in math classes. Our brains process math and numbers in a totally different way. Many people on the spectrum struggle with the “show your work” part of math because we can’t exactly tell you why it works/how it works. We just kinda do it

But… But the entire system is base 10, why wouldn’t that be the most natural way to use it

Ugh, let me guess, other people can’t visually group units of five (or two) like I do to count things

Demands I wish I could make to the people who are responsible for my booked patients:

  • Don’t book same-day appointments for gyno exams. I have long, scraggly fingers tipped with claws that I have most likely not cut recently enough.
  • No kids whatsoever. I will take geriatric patients all day long if I don’t have to see kids
  • Actually, I’ll take all pensioners because that means fewer sick leave notes
  • If the patient’s last four or five appointments have all been to residents, do us all a favour and hook them up with a real GP, however temporarily
  • I am not here to learn logistics and paperwork. If the patient is just here for logistics and paperwork, book them to someone who can actually do the paperwork in a timely fashion
  • I’ve seen enough ortho. I’m faily good at making clinical judgements about lumbago and osteoarthritis, and I’m not even 30. I’d like to see a diabetic once in a while, y'know
