Crowley once asked Aziraphale to watch his plants for him. They grew better for Aziraphale than they ever did for Crowley. Out of stubbornness, Crowley refused to change anything he did to tend for his plants, despite that.
-The way Crowley treats his plants (yelling at them, threatening to get rid of them) looks a lot like the way he’s terrified of being treated by Hell
-It takes him AN HOUR to dispose of the plants he gets rid of each month. He’s definitely not just chucking them in the bin. Personally, I think it’s implied that he goes out and puts them in the ground somewhere, perhaps justifying it as messing up people’s landscaping
From Paul Kidby’s newsletter:
The internal pages for Good Omens are now printed – it was an exciting moment to see them in their unbound form and realise the scale and heft of the Dunmanifestin editions.
All the illustrations for the collection of ephemera to accompany the Ineffable and Celestial editions are finally finished, my last drawing was of Aziraphale by ‘Leonardo’. This was a fitting bookend to complete the project as my very first drawing was of Crowley, as drawn by Leonardo.
