I just love the sense of humour these clips have shown with ridiculous haircuts and costumes and the “We’re fu-” and David Tennant being over dramatic and screaming “IM HAVING A MOMENT” they could have gone super dramatic fantasy but they’ve kept the silliness and I’m so happy

Hello thought that hit me like a freight train:

Nanny Ashtoreth is described as having the vibe of performing services more along the lines of Madame Tracy’s occupation (ie, hiring a nanny not to take care of your children, but to take care of you, and in “unspecified but extremely explicit” ways). But in the radio and TV versions…Crowley is Nanny Ashtoreth.

And I cant help thinking, given Aziraphale’s position as gardener probably puts some tension between them (superficial, at least), there are at least some people who see them together and assume that Aziraphale has hired the nanny for personal reasons a time or two.

They dismiss it just as quickly, of course, because Aziraphale (even as Brother Francis) is clearly gay and, as far as they’re concerned, Nanny Ashtoreth is a woman. Crowley, on the other hand, gets wind of these rumours, and that’s a thought he’ll enjoy for a very long time. In unspecified but extremely explicit ways.

I have seen a number of different Good Omens gifs and one thing I genuinely appreciate is that Crowley continually changes his hair but Aziraphale just has one and I just imagine him at the dawn of time picking a haircut and just being like “yeah this’ll work” and just…… never changes…. and that is such a spot-on characterization of Aziraphale
