Well, this is a tough spot. I’m trying to reduce my use of paper towels, napkins, and plastic, and now I’ve just seen this 3D printed plastic paper towel and napkin holder, and I love it. Can burgeoning environmental concerns stand up to a novelty Mario thing? I don’t know!?

If you have access to a 3D printer and a need to display these particular household items, you can check out the design here.

Fitted sheets are simple. Try getting a super-king duvet into its cover in one.

They’re nearly square, but not enough to get away with getting it wrong, and UNLESS you remember whether the label goes at the bottom or on the side I can pretty well guarantee that once you’ve got it in and just before you start doing up the fastenings, you’ll realise that it needs taken out again and turned 90 degrees.

Using the “California Roll” or “Burrito” duvet-cover method is great, and much faster than “Turkey Stuffing”. However a lot of the time it simply means you discover the need for a removal and 90 degree turn that much sooner.

Guess who was re-covering a duvet earlier today and forgot to check its label?

Three guesses, and the first two don’t count… :-P
