The fact that Spock doesn’t have eye shadow on in Discovery but he does in TOS means that the eye shadow isn’t biological and is instead a conscious choice made by Spock. Vulcan logic apparently makes room to get up twenty minutes early to make sure his eye makeup is on point.  Thank you for coming to my TED-1701 talk.
