Look there’s more this year! I grew up with them all over the woods I played in - they’re one of my favorite plants. Definitely one of the most magical too. I can’t wait to have tons of these all over the place. They’re a spring ephemeral, so in the heat of summer they will die back and disappear until next spring. It’s a common strategy for plants native to the understory of forests - they try to do their reproductive thing before the trees above them leaf out and they can’t get as much sunlight.

outfit 1/3 from Wondercon: “As you wish” dress

I first posted about this one a while back (x) and finished her up just in time for the con! There’s always a bit of alteration from concept to actual garment, but I’m pretty happy with how this turned out!
wins: the belt that I 1000% winged without knowing tf i was doing; the floating cartridge pleating at the cuffs that I had to redo 5x to make work; the construction overall came out 👌👌👌 (it’s fully lined and fits perfectly)

now I just need some good prof shots (and of the detaillls!)
