I will be 70 years old and I still will never have gotten over the time the Mythbusters used a rocket powered steel wall to - and I use this word as literally as possible - vaporize an entire car into red mist
MWAHAHAHAHA
Ok, proving that there are ups and downs in this B of a life: after last week’s terrible very not good financial news today I actually got a win in. Since my office is a shitshow and people are leaving in droves the powers that be have wisely instituted a ‘generous’ work from home policy, especially if your commute’s shit. (And believe me, mine is) So there’s a stick to beat the devil with and I promptly used it to wallop my manager into giving me Thursdays and Fridays WFH in perpetuity.
So YASSSsssss job, ph33r me!!! I am gonna be living that 4 hour workday myth just you wait.
If you haven’t seen this episode of Mythbusters I feel so bad for you because “What car?” remains to this day as a defining moment of my adolescence and my entire life
That was a near-religious experience

Let’s not forget the very last episode of the series in which they used the same rocket sled to propel their crash test dummy Buster into a wall at faster than the speed of sound. (x)
My cat was sitting on my lap one morning. She left this paw print on my leg, and I’m thinking about getting it tattooed. Thoughts?
andrew came downstairs from the office to give me a hug and seemed really worried about me and it turned out that i had reblogged a picture of a jellyfish with the tag “sometimes i wish i could be this” and while i had meant “beautiful, ethereal, and full of light” he had interpreted it as meaning “brainless and totally free of the burden of consciousness”

this was the jellyfish

Sometimes you just gotta join a fandom for a book that’s literally twice as old as you are and be like “Here’s some fanart, bitch!”
