I got another Tamara in a lot and so I can use her for comparisons of the Tamara I painted some details into. She got some paint and acrylic gloss with pearlex powder. I wanted to do something like this so much as a kid.

The more I read the book and spend time on tumblr, the more I think Aziraphale may be an angel by denomination, but he is, in reality, the most passive agressive motherfucker that has ever graced God’s green earth. I mean. Look. It’s raining fish, so he puts on an all-suffering face AND OPENS AN UMBRELLA. To any and all potential customers, he’s polite, but only in the most superficial of ways which actually spells genuine dislike and contempt. He has turned it into such an art form that the whole deal with the British wry humour and reticence was probably more or less modelled after his very example. 

And yet, yet, he has a soft spot in his heart for his very own snekk friend Crowley, and the Earth, and tea, and the Telegraph crossword puzzles, and books. I mean. I just. Can’t.

so, on the topic of “why the umbrella is important”, my mom noticed its shape is very dome-like and made a whole argument out of it

so we were like “well damn churches have domes too, what do they even mean?” and well, quoting Italian Wikipedia, according to an Italian guide on the art of Vicenza Cathedral:

The dome symbolizes heaven, “sphere of history, location of the axis of the world and perfect miniature of the Universe, in its order and in its beauty.” […] The dome clearly tells us that the Heaven opened up to the Earth, and came down to make itself human.“
