I’m so proud of my lab mates, Sam and Philippe. Their research is blowing up the internet!
Some Grim Fandango drawings for this week

Ok in an anaphylaxis situation, Epinephrine ALWAYS should come first. Diphenhydramine can help the hives and itching of a milder allergic reaction, but it doesn’t open up airways like epinephrine does.
In a non-anaphylactic reaction, Benadryl orally or IV may be more appropriate. But yeah, oral Benadryl not only doesn’t work fast enough in anaphylaxis. It also doesn’t do the lifesaving make-the-person-breathe thing that epinephrine does.

I love just about every bit of the Star Trek - The Fall: The Crimson
Shadow, by Una McCormack, but this bit is my favorite part. Toward the
very end when Garak and Parmak are awaiting the results of the election.
One of the most beautiful scenes I’ve ever read in science fiction.

Right? Me too. I actually watched because @dollsonmain posted a video and I’m just chill and comforted by watching this go down. Not too frantic, stressful, or loud and just like, yay arts and crafts and tools and a process and genuine enthusiasm and then something nice and shiny at the end. Good for sick brain.
I’m watching a channel called Diecast Resurrection for those of you who think you’d also like watching a Canadian man who is really made happy by Hot Wheels and fixing them up.
