Amulet depicting the demoness Lamashtu, who is standing on top of a donkey and sucking a jackal and a pig. Lamashtu was said to have attacked pregnant women and newborn children so the amulet is probably a ward against her as there is an incomplete Akkadian inscription on it as well.
Neo-Assyrian, 800-550 B.C., found in northwestern Mesopotamia. Now in the British Museum.
