It says a lot about The Sisko, that when out of everything Captain Kirk did, all the times he saved the Federation, or stopped the universe from being destroyed. The one thing The Sisko is most impressed with and fanboys over, is Kirk’s handtohand battle with the Gorn on Cestus III.

Headcanon: Sisko always referred to Curzon as Curzon but he always refers to Jadzia as Dax because Dax is the connection between Curzon and Jadzia. His way of adjusting is to keep them connected, at least in his mind, by the common factor.
