At bus stops, there aren't queues as per say, people will get to the bus stop and wait for the bus, and once the bus gets there they wait for the people to get off, then whoever got there first will usually get on, though they'll probably step back and allow someone with a buggy or someone elderly on first. Though, they'll normally say "No, it's fine, you go!" We're all so polite that it's time consuming to get on and off buses.

When I get back to England I will take a picture of genuine bus stop queues around my home town. If the buses are late sometimes they’ll go down the street in very orderly one behind the other queues.

Okay, no one yell at me, but what can you do with an English major other than teaching or possibly journalism/editing? I ask out of genuine curiosity, since English is something I’m good at, but wouldn’t consider majoring in because I don’t want to teach.
