All of a sudden I felt a need to watch Star Trek: Deep Space 9, because of a reason you know. And that reason is dr. Bashir. He was quite adorable and had this nice voice and dashing British accent :3 But making him a womanizer felt forced, didn’t suit him. But it seems DS9 creators need to keep a pattern of having a womanizer in the crew -___-

Confession TIme: I find it hard to watch the Star Trek shows. Idk if it’s my add, but I find the pacing too slow and the acting forced. But when I see gifs of scenes on tumblr, I always want to check it out. 7 of 9 seems awesome! Julian Bashir’s a cutie! Tuvok looks super cool!

I finally gave in and watched the DS9 episode that tempted me the most. I was actually really impressed with Trials and Tribble-ations. The lighting and colors of TOS were replicated perfectly. And the way the actors blended in? AND ALL THE LITTLE TOS JOKES LIKE THE NOOK WITH THE LADDER AND KLINGONS LOOKING COMPLETELY DIFFERENT AAAW

And the fucking Temporal Investigations guys OF COURSE STAR FLEET HAS THAT THEY WOULD NEED IT SO BAD.

But what I really want to know is, did Julian become his own great-grandfather? He obviously looked tempted.

star trek ds9 i would watch a show just about temporal investigations

There’s a secret library in the New York City subway

"…The underground branch lives outside the turnstiles at the 51st Street 6 stop, and it sounds like a sort of literacy-and-public-transit-themed Cheers. “You see the same people all the time,” patron Melissa Britt told the New York Times in 2010. “You can’t find this place unless someone tells you about it.” Another patron added, “If you don’t take the train, you’d probably never even know this place exists…”
