My husband knew that my favorite meal was my mother’s breaded and panfried chicken breast, known in my family as “Becca Chicken”. He apparently got her to teach him to cook it for our first anniversary, and every now and then he will surprise me with it as dinner. He makes it even better than I can.

i read civil campaign for the first time in late middle school or early high school and WOW is it different to read as an actual adult

the surge of emotion when reading about Donno now that ive been out as a trans man for years? that was almost religious

it’s also just so moving to read through miles and ekaterine’s storyline, and ESPECIALLY mark and kareen’s, now that im an adult who’s had relationships and is knowledgeable about my own sexuality

i loved the book all those years ago, but that doesn’t even half compare to how much I love it now :’)
