good day to u Sir. so first, 2 things about me: i love cats & i'm not much into horror (coz i'm a scaredy-cat). but despite the latter, i got into the Sandman audible & I enjoyed it. I got through the grisly murders & creepy psychos, but at Ep.18 (Dream of a Thousand Cats) the unfortunate incident with the kittens (i can barely type this) almost made me stop listening! had to take an actual break before i got through that episode... eventually, i finished the whole thing & I was quite proud of myself (& amazed by you, the whole cast & production).

my second point: i started "Oceans at the End of the Lane" just now & the first chapter again near traumatized me (poor Fluffy 😥). So my actual question is: are you a cat or a dog person? me, i love both (there's 1 dog & 5 cats in our home).

also, pls can you tell me if Sandman 2 has anymore cat-related incidents i should prepare for? thanks so much.

I’m pretty sure Sandman Act II is kitten-friendly all the way. Act III may have a couple of kitten-related moments, though nothing as traumatising as anything in Act 1 or in Ocean.

I don’t really get the division of people into Cat and Dog people. I’ve had Cats I loved and Dogs I loved.

Hello! I’m curious if you’ve ever written something while being convinced that no one in their right mind would ever publish it. And if so, what ended up happening with it? Tabled? Published after all? Consigned to oblivion? (I ask because I am a few hundred thousand words deep in a project that I suspect will never see the light of day, although I’d like it to.)

Mostly they won awards eventually.

Hi Mr Gaiman and happy christmas to you! not sure if anybody has asked this before but in the book, when we first meet the character of War, why was the scene changed from a Hotel to North Africa in the TV show? Thanks!

Budget. We were running out, and we didn’t have the money for the hotel (which was where it was set in the script originally). But we had the tent in the desert – we were using it as a place for the people to wait while we shot the Eden stuff – so I rewrote the scene to be set there.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, Mr. Gaiman! I really like Good Omens - the book and the TV series. But there is one point I can't understand. At the end of Episode 6, Crowley and Aziraphale change bodies back (they return to their normal form). When did they first change? (in St. James's Park they were in their bodies, and then the angel and the demon were captured, and after that they couldn't change, could they?)

Watch Episode 6 again. There are lots of clues for you there.
