i wish we were one of those species that you could just refrigerate. Imagine if we meet aliens and they evolved in these lakes that freeze over and their biology was just set up to be able to survive freezing and thawing, and they just take it for granted that you can put someone on ice after an injury while you get them to the hospital. We'd be so envious

yeah the frogs come and go pretty much as they please, they spend most of their time kicking around eating ants in there but they do heed nature’s call and leave to find others of their kind during frog mating season! they come back later, though
