First of all, how dare you forget my man Bones. And since like 10 of y'all asked for him, I’m gonna add him anyways, so :

Bones :

Rmhhh it is hard cause I just love this guy so much. Maybe some of his pseudo racist comments against Spock were a bit too much ? Especially in the beginning, they sometimes felt really gratuitous (especially during medical procedures ??) but he mellowed with time so I’ll excuse it for character development reasons.

Something I kinda dislike about this tho is how the fandom sometimes exaggerate how racist he is ? Especially when most of the times Spock makes comments about humans too and clearly hold his own against him verbally, but I’ve never seen any fan call him out on that

Beverly :

Not much to say here except that she was kinda underdeveloped as a character and suffered from the same “I have only like two good episodes in the entire show” disease than Troi

Julian :

mhh I’m not a fan of the whole augment thing, but I don’t feel as strongly about it as some fans. I still have mixed feelings about this one.

Also I’m sorry but Alexander Siddig kinda can’t act anger. Every time he yelled it felt a bit silly

Oh also about fan response, I haven’t seen much of that one on tumblr but I often see people who say he only became good in like season 4 bc before he was too annoying. I dislike this take cause completely disagree, annoying Julian was incredible because it was both hilarious and painfully relatable

Idk, he was a bit cringe once in a while ? I don’t really have anything to say here haha, he was kind of a little bitch in Tuvix but he was the least bad of every character in this ep so it’s kinda unfair
