star trek tos spirk spock kirk the og otp i hate the jjabrams movies with a fiery passion this isnt about them a while back i binged the entire original series & all its movies (yes ALL of them even the bad ones) and boy what an emotional journey for these two so i kinda wanted to just do a little series of drawings cataloging their personal journey how they change each other and change through each other all the way from odd couple to old married couple and the various deaths and rebirths in between i highly recommend watching it all if you haven't join them and go where no one has gone before into the most charged cosmic depths of    G A Y    S P A C E (i love it there) anyway posting this now bc u guys validated me by liking my silly kirby/tos crossover (p.s. i called some of the tos movies bad but there are air quotes around that) (like YES they are objectively bad pieces of Cinema but also YES they are iconic and essential and Good in that specific campy tos way) (even the quote-unquote worst tos movie -- you know the one -- is better than any of the abrams movies at the end of the day) ((i need that director man to stop getting employed jfc like nepotism will you never cease)) ((((sorry ive missed tags since using twitter so im goin ham on them now))))

I decided to go with a nice afternoon at the Baghdad House of Wisdom, around 1200 CE 💫

good omens ineffable husbands aziraphale crowley ineffable muffins days of their lives zine this was fun I did a lot of research on architecture and clothing and patterns made a handful of cool tiles (most of which didn't end up getting used but... eventually) and I learned a ton about the abbasid caliphate so I had a neat time working on it
