I absolutely adore how there’s this like. Each of the presaux crew has a very different relationship with their secunit but they’re all still rly strong forms of affection. Like

  • Mensah: “are you okay” “are YOU okay?” (Mutual protectiveness)
  • Pin-lee: constant casual sniping which is only possible bc deep mutual respect is a given
  • Ratthi: Classic extrovert/introvert dynamic. “I’m not social but I will sit quietly with you in a social setting & know that you appreciate it”
  • Gurathin: frenemies 101. Too similar to get along. Won’t pass you something from across the table but will commit serious crimes for you. 0 communication or ride or die with nothing in between
  • Bharadwaj: shares deeply personal information knowing that she’s a safe person to share it with / works so hard to give it support & encouragement on both a personal & societal level ( / I cry)
  • Arada: the “do you need a hug? Do you want me to call someone?” scene lives in my brain rent free. Supportive of each other’s insecurities & gentle with them too
