I’ve decided to start calling Shakaar “Texas toast” because he’s basically just a piece of white bread whose only distinguishing feature is being unusually large.
julian: there is good in you. you are my poor little meow meow
garak, trembling and through gritted teeth: i am not…….your p,poor little mmeoe meow
Oh goddammit, and I did that to myself, too.
I let Heart of Stone start playing casually.
Because the episode begins heartbreaking within just the storylines proper, with Nog wanting to go to Starfleet Academy and Odo’s declaration of love towards Kira and that hearing that she loves him is “something she’d never say,” and then just gets worse because of how much it hurts with Aron Eisenberg and Rene Auberjonois having passed.
Miles O'Brien sings “Jerusalem” ironically, aware that it was once used as an anthem of imperialism.
Julian Bashir does it because the opening words are “And did those feet-?”
SISKO! MY JOYFUL DAD! The satisfied way he says this, fresh off the heels of a delightful moment with Jake, really just sells how much pleasure Sisko takes in the small things. Love this character and the tremendous actor that plays him, Avery Brooks!
Ep: S2,E1 Homecoming!

I absolutely ADORE Garak in Civil Defense because once he realizes that he can’t do anything to stop their imminent demise he starts throwing insults at Dukat because if he’s going to die he’s going to go out like the petty queen he is
