I was looking back at Honpun’s old stories i used to post here. What an attitude and big fat lazy bird. I miss him so much. Marble doesnt have many stories yet. He’s very independent but has started begging for scritches. Especially at handfeeding time. He begs the SYRINGE for scritches and bows his head when im trying to get it in his mouth. Today I was redoing his cage and he saw his fave toy on the floor and jumped off his playgym all the way to the floor just to have his toy. And he is TERRIFIED of being on the ground. Marble is so obsessed with that toy he wants to just sit in his cage all day chewing on it. It was actually supposed to be a replacement funbasket for Honpun, but Honpun never liked it. He only wanted the original which was like just a few sticks at that point. Marble’s not even chewing the woven part he just sits there and pulls the plastic rings on it. FOR HOURS. He’s not afraid of any new toys…like I went to go attach a new toy to the other side of his playgym and he came running over and grabbed it with his foot and pulled it from me before I could even attach it lol. He just fkn took it from me. He’s having the time of his life but like I said I redid the cage so he may not be too thrilled because now he actually has to climb the cage bars to get around and so far hes not having it. I also replaced his bed with a corner flatperch from the etsy store FlatPerch bc its smaller than what he had so maybe he wont poop on it since he cant fit his ass on it. HE TRIED TO THOUGH. he tried to fit the ass on the bed and his tail got stuck up in the air with all his underfloofies showing. I put him on the bed after his feeding and he never left it…not sure he knows how to get down. He’ll figure it out soon. It’s kind of funny for such a fat lazy bed-loving bird, Honpun was a pro bar climber. And this super active young guy doesnt even want to attempt it. I really like those flat perches they make way better beds than whatever bullshit i kludged together for Honpun. Sturdy and easy to remove for cleaning..Ok I need to sleep now I have to get up super early to feed the baby. Everytime I go to feed him I think of that video of that Indian Ringneck when his owner was feeding some babies and he kept saying GONNA FEED THE BABIES FEED THE BABIES MWAH LOVE YOU BABIES ok good bye

Just so everyone knows. Marble did figure out how to fit the ass on the flatperch bed and he pooped all over it and I had to take it away. I gave him a smaller bed but he won’t sleep on it. He now only wants to sleep where 2 of his perches cross in an X (like X marks the spot). It’s fine I put a little bird heater next to the X to keep him warm and he enjoys using the balltongue on it. In fact I can see little marks in the floof dust coating where he had used the balltongue. He is pulling my hair right now and he also tried to flat out take my glasses away. He ripped my nail file right out of my hand the other night and ran away with it and it was a high speed chase and tug of war battle to get it back. He is a Menace with very long legs

omg i feel the same thats why ive stopped specifying they/them in a lot of online spaces. they them doesnt do anything for me, and i feel like a lot of my friends hear im technically ok w them and roll with it, but i genuinely like she/her and zey/zem an equal amount most days! like my trans friends can call me she its ok! i think a lot of ppl have shifted to a gender trinary: and forgotten to remove pronouns from gender. its like ‘oh you’re nonbinary so u use they them’ which. isnt how it works
