Not all of them were the same rhythm, and not all of them are funny - some are about serious situations and have made people cry! It’s in that metre because that’s his schtick. He writes poems that have a rhyme and rhythm you can usually sing to and he’s very good at it actually. Most of them are not in this grammar.
