Although I’ve only seen parts and haven’t had a chance to really watch it, SU tends to be good about embracing things traditionally considered feminine and then emphasizing that this doesn’t make them weak or childish. Steven’s empathy/acceptance is his strength, and someone can be big and rough-and-tough or thin and girly/proper and still be a strong warrior and good friend.
