May I suggest a change in design. Look up the SKS Rifle Spike Bayonet. It could be described as an “X” or elongated cross shape. Or two long tapering blades joined along the center line, one horizontal to the other’s vertical. The shape strengthens the “blade” improving it’s use as a thrusting weapon. The four long edges could also be sharpened.
