My one other suggestion regarding his stuff is to hold off on The Arrival. It’s probably perfectly accessible to a smart 7 year old, but it may be worth holding off reading it until she’ll be able to recognize the context/type of story it’s telling. (It might be worth getting now, just because it’s an amazing book and you may like it)
